Schedule

Particpants can add our google calendar to their preferred calendar app for an easy way to keep track of the month’s events. Our homebase for events will be at CQT level 5, seminar room S15-05-14.

At a glance

Each day (Mon-Fri) begins with a talk by a participant or guest speaker – please check the calendar for speaker details. The rest of the day is kept flexible for collaboration. You can refer to our list of recommended workspots in and around CQT.  You will also receive invitations to join lab visits and to sign up for social outings on Friday evenings.

The last three days of the hackamonth will be reserved for participants to present the work of their different project groups. The schedule will be decided with participants during the hackamonth.

Recommended workspots

At CQT at Block S15

At level 3: the Quantum Cafe offers a sociable space. You can also talk al fresco at the picnic tables en-route to S14, or occupy the tables inside S14 where we host a superconducting quantum processor for the National Quantum Computing Hub.

At level 5: try the pantry area for big whiteboards, occupy office S15-05-07 or use spare desks in S15-05-13 for quiet work.

At level 6: you can use the communal space and sofas along the corridor, the seminar room at S16-06-22 for up to 10 people and, for smaller groups, the glass-walled discussion rooms.

In the neighbourhood

At S16:  next to CQT, the corridor at level 3 is lined with tables and sofas.

At the NUS Science Medicine Library: check for study tables in the communal space at ground level.

At S9: head out from CQT and past the science canteen to find seating in this building’s bright atrium (pictured), also home to a coffee shop.
